Carrot Kheer

Ingredients:




Carrots                -  250 gms(2 nos)
Badams               -  5 nos
Sugar                   -  6 - 8 table spoons
Milk                    -  1 1/2 cups
Cardamom          -  3 - 4 nos


1.  Wash clean and boil carrots.
2.  Allow it to cool and grind it to paste.
3.  Heat milk and allow it to boil till it reduces to 1 cup.
4.  Grate the badams in cheese grater or powder it in a mixer.
5.  Take the carrot paste in a thick bottomed vessel and add sugar and the grated badam to the carrot paste.
6.  Boil it till the sugar melts and blends with the carrot.
7.  Remove from the stove and add the cardamom powder and milk.
8.  Carrot kheer is ready.  It can be served hot and chilled.
