Ingredients:
Ripe Papaya - 1 nos(about 1 kg size)
Milk - 1 cup (200 ml)
Sugar - 1 1/2 cups
Cardamom powder - 1/2 tea spoon
Ghee - 2 table spoons
Cashew(Optional) - 1 table spoon
1. Peel, remove seeds and and cut papayas into small cubes.
2. Take the milk in a thick bottomed vessel and add the diced papayas into it and cook till the papayas are soft and done.
3. Allow the papayas to cool and then grind it in a mixer along with sugar, without adding water..
4. Heat ghee in a kadai and add the ground paste and stir cook.
5. Within 5 - 7 mins the ghee will split out, add the cardamom powder and halwa is ready.
6. Heat 1 tea spoon of ghee in a kadai, add the cashews and once they are golden brown add it to the halwa.
7. It tastes terrific served hot or chilled.

the halwa looks really delicious.It'll be easy to give children who don't like eating papaya as a fruit.
